The MEBA Council represents the interests of the international students in the six internationally focused Master of Science programs at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). The Council is responsible for over 150 international degree students in the realms of academic affairs, social events and corporate relations. In addition, the Council works on increasing the visibility of NHH internationally and is part of the International Student Union of Norway.
NHH is a world-class business school that offers many unique, differentiated opportunities that we want to make more accessible to all. We believe that our dedication to the welfare of the current international students, as well as our plans to increase the visibility of NHH for prospective students will benefit the entire NHH community and solidify the institution as a leading international university in Norway.

The first event of the spring semester was an all-you-can-eat brunch with the MEBA students. We got to know each other, had a great time together and even made bets about eating strange combinations of food. We are looking forward to hanging out with CEMS again!
Last year at the end of the fall semester we went to Hotel Augustin to take part in this true Norwegian tradition. We have tried all the special Norwegian Christmas dishes, for example pinnekjøtt, lutefisk and svineribbe. We exchanged gifts and enjoyed a bit of Christmas spirit before the upcoming exams.
In cooperation with Prorector Sunniva Whittaker and the Admissions Office we have organized an information meeting for the exchange students of the fall semester of 2016. Here the students could learn about their opportunities to become a full-time master student at NHH, about the different profiles and the admission requirements. We also had a few speeches about the student life in Bergen from current MEBA students.
At a TED conference, the world's leading thinkers and doers are asked to give the talk of their lives in 18 minutes or less. In 2015, we organized the sixth TEDxBergen event with the topic "Disrupt the Norm", where the participants where inspired by renowned speakers from all over the world.
We are back again in 2017!

There are few things more Norwegian than spending the night at a cabin in the woods. Therefore we have organized a 2-day cabin trip to Kvamskogen in cooperation with GEP. First we played some introductory games to get to know each other, then we enjoyed a traditional Norwegian meal: tacos on Friday, took an ice-cold bath in the nearby lake and after shared a few drinks to warm our spirits.
